Welcome 2008

Put on your party hats and let's welcome in the new year!
Goodbye 2007 and welcome 2008.

We are so grateful for all our blessings and the addition of Nathan to our family in 2007. We look forward to more good times in the new year. Happy New Year!

Ho Ho Ho!

Here are some pictures from our "Christmas card photo shoot" last Sunday.  We only took over 200 shots! :)  Nathan looked so cute in his new red pajamas.  He has quite the range of facial expressions but his "new face" seemed to appear a lot throughout the photo shoot.  We thought it might be his new smile.

This is intense!
So sweet yet silly at the same time.

Happy Holidays to everyone!

Nathan's new face

This new face started as of Saturday and he continues to repeat it...sometimes with a funny nose-breathing sound. We're wondering where he came up with it.
I think these pictures captured it well.

Kevin's 27

Kevin's birthday was Thursday, December 13th. Kevin and I enjoyed a nice dinner date...just the two of us. It's been awhile since we've done that.

Happy 27th Birthday!

Trip to Nashville

Kevin enjoyed his weekend in Tennessee with the Chow Family. He enjoyed good food and a good game. (The Titans won!) He made it home safely Sunday evening.

This is a flashback to last year's Tennesse trip. Kevin and David getting a picture with Vince Young.

Next year we're planning on making it a family trip. I've never been to Nashville so I think it would be fun.
Thanks Chows for the fun weekend!

6 months

Yay! I'm half a year old!
Nathan had his 6 month check-up on Wednesday. He had to brave 3 more shots. He now weighs 19 lbs 13 oz (90%) and is 28 1/4 inches long (95%). He is such a happy baby. We enjoy making him smile and laugh. This is such a fun age.
He won't be in this infant carseat much longer!
We started solids the beginning of November. He is a pretty good eater. So far he's had rice cereal, carrots, sweet peas, sweet potatoes, bananas and pears. Yum yum!
- Our big boy sitting up in his crib -
His latest trick is pulling himself up from sitting to standing using the crib railing. I was shocked to see him do this. He's a strong little boy! He is making efforts to crawl and has started to scoot backwards.
Last weekend Nathan was very interested in his laundry hamper. Kevin put it over his head and Nathan seemed to think it was pretty neat. Who needs toys when you have a laundry basket?Nathan tried out his piano skills at Grandma and Grandpa Carter's house. Just look at that focus. Kevin and I would love for him to take lessons...when he's older of course.

Happy half-year birthday! We love you!
